Cameron’s main areas of practice include commercial transactions, international law, and corporate law. As an attorney at Dugger & Associates, Cameron has gained valuable experience in the following areas:

 

 

• Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing complex and high value documents including, but not limited to joint venture agreements, master services agreements, consulting agreements, commercial leases, confidentiality agreements, and purchase agreements. 

 

• Advising international businesses and investors on the legal requirements and realities of doing business in the United States. Advising businesses and investors in the United Sates of the legal requirements involved in doing business abroad, including Angola, Mexico, and Canada.

 

• Utilizing knowledge of the OECD Model Tax Convention, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the Internal Revenue Code, and other United States laws, international treaties, and foreign laws and regulations in order to assist clients with ongoing or proposed international business ventures.

 

• Advising clients on business immigration matters including visas for intercompany transfers and visas for international investors starting a new business in the United States.

 

• Forming, maintaining, and dissolving businesses entities such as corporations and LLCs for clients. Advising clients on the proper entity to form for their specific needs, the proper procedures for maintaining a business entity, and when necessary, the procedures and consequences of dissolving an entity.

 

• Serving as outside counsel for various businesses, providing legal advice and assistance to clients on employment issues, resolving disputes with other businesses, maintaining corporate formalities, drafting employment agreements for all levels of employees and officers, and drafting employee handbooks and company policies.

 

• Other areas of practice for Cameron include estate planning, probate, commercial litigation, and property law.

About Cameron

 

Cameron is a second generation attorney and he lives in Katy with his wife and two sons. Cameron is a lifelong Astros and Rockets fan and enjoys catching the games when he has time.  Before attending law school, Cameron received his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio and he is a lifetime member of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology.

 

Cameron Dugger is a graduate of South Texas College of Law and has been admitted to practice law in Texas since 2012. Cameron joined the firm in the summer of 2010 as a law clerk and became an attorney at Dugger & Associates in May of 2012.
